Can't recommend highly enough for a speedy visit.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, with a modern en-suite bathroom and freshly cooked breakfast made to order, ensuring a comfortable stay were standout features for me, especially being in such a convenient location just a short walk from the train station and major attractions.
No negatives from this place.

Locking guests out after midnight is quite peculiar!!! the overwhelming presence of the owner's dog upon entering could be refined for a smoother guest experience!!!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but still decent for what we got.

A lovely family trip with spotlessly clean accommodations that made for a very comfortable stay. The meals were a highlight—especially the freshly cooked breakfast, which left us craving more. Great family spot!
Really spacious family room for us and the kids, had a good night's sleep without any noise bothering us. Breakfast was pretty tasty, and the self-serve drinks were a nice touch! The only thing was the shower could've been better since it felt a bit dated. Otherwise, we had a great time!

would stay there again
Room 4 was cozy and super clean, no noise issues at all despite the busy area. Had a nice private bathroom with fresh towels provided. Breakfast was self-service for drinks and cereal. A freshly cooked full English that was delicious. The place is just a minute from Funnygirls, perfect location!

Great stay in a cozy spot!
Just spent 2 nights at this place. It was super clean and felt fresh. We got a comfy bed in our double room. Shower was solid, no complaints there. The host was mega friendly and really helped us out. Breakfast was decent too. Just wish they'd have threw in some shower gel – don’t forget to bring your own!

had a great stay at the trentham hotel! graham (the owner) was super polite n really helpful, made us feel right at home. the double room was clean, beds comfy, and the dogs around were such a nice touch, loved watchin my son play with them. breakfast was also tasty, filled us up for the day!
the only downside was the lack of parking nearby, which made it a bit tricky. also, the noise outside from other guests was kinda loud sometimes.

Superb location just steps from the train station, making it a breeze to get to. Rooms are cozy, stocked with complimentary towels, and the ensuite is both tidy and functional.
The decor feels stuck in another era, with garish colors overshadowing any charm. Breakfast, though decent, comes off microwaved, all at a consistent scorch. despite having a bar, it remains closed all day Sunday, which seems odd. The room sizes leave much to be desired, and if you're sensitive to cold, you might find the heating system underwhelming as it shuts off far too soon.
